I just love being behind the scenes, and what I adore the most is when any given actor decides to start acting for me — slipping in and out of character, almost unconsciously. It’s in those unguarded instants, when play and reality overlap, that their true magic appears. A glance, a gesture, a line whispered half in rehearsal, half in life… those are the moments I live to capture.

Photographing the actors of 33 Days in Rome was such a joy — slipping behind the curtain to catch those fleeting moments before the play begins.
The quiet focus, the laughter, the nerves — all the little fragments that never make it to the stage but hold so much of the story.
